I joined the hair industry later in life, stepping into this new chapter when I found myself being needed less and less by my 3 (now adolescent) children. With more time on my hands, I realised my life was slowly, but surely, becoming my own again—but I felt restless and drained.
So I followed the signs, took a huge leap of faith and stepped away from my career in education, before jumping headfirst into a hair apprenticeship at HALO Hair Studio, and I’ve never looked back.
I genuinely consider myself one of the lucky few who truly love what they do, love where they work, and adore the clients I work with .
RAE embodies the philosophy of Real Authentic Energy, which is my mantra for this new chapter.
As a hair stylist and a new small business owner, my goal is simple: to make every hair salon client feel seen, heard and beautiful.
This is what brings me joy: making humans feel wonderful, inside and out.
